Aaaaaallllll the Things!
Hey there, friends! Ever had the experience of buying what you thought was the perfect maker item, only to discover it didn't quite work the way you needed it to? Trust me, I've been there. It's frustrating and can leave you feeling like you're stuck with the wrong tools or sub-par supplies. Don't worry! Whether you've attended one of our in-person wreath classes before, are looking to craft more wreaths for yourself or loved ones, or even dream of turning wreath-making into a business, I'm here to help. In this blog post, I'm sharing a list of my all-time favorite wreath-making essentials – the very items I rely on for almost every design. When you unleash your creativity and create your own decor, post a photo on my Facebook or Instagram pages...I can't wait to see what you design!
P.S. This blog format will open the link in this window, so if you want the links to open as a new tab instead, just hold down the "Ctrl" key (or the COMMAND key on a Mac) while you click the link!
Blue Handled Scissors (trust me, you want the blue handled ones!) |
9.5" Ribbon Scissors (these have longer blades for wide ribbon) |
Wreath Work Forms (this link will take you to all the colors) |
10" Deco Mesh (this link will take you to the full collection) |
||
Rotary Cutter (I prefer this 60mm but the 45mm are good as well) |
||
EZ Bow Maker (your best friend for big bows!) |
Manual Upholstery Stapler (for your signs and door hangers) |
20" Pipe Cleaners (look around the site for other colors available...they sell out so keep checking back) |
Mini Bolt Cutters (for the stubborn stems) |
||
|
||
DAP Rapid Dry Glue (use this to adhere your cable mounts to your signs) |
Garment Rack (but we really use it to store out-of-season wreaths!) |
Wire Hangers (seriously, put a loop on your wreaths just to hang them for storage - NOT for hanging on the door!) |
Wreath Storage Bags (Don't buy the kitchen size, don't buy opaque ones. Just buy these and cut a hole in the "bottom" for the hanger, and slip it on upside down like a dry cleaning bag. Leave the tie part - now on the bottom - open for air flow) |
